Sad Day...

We lost a dear friend today. Our family dog, Izzy, died today. She was an 8 year old Golden Retriever, and the best dog I have ever had the privilege to call my own. We are going to miss her greatly around here.

She was Zachary's best friend, and was loved by all. We're gonna miss you, girl.

T-Minus....

If that's moving up, I'm moving out....

Well, we finally got our own place. Sort of. We move the second weekend in August. We are really excited to be going back out on our own again. We definitely appreciate Jessica's parents for putting up with us for so long.

But it will be good to get our own place, and have our own schedules. Looking forward to it.

Oh, Atlanta, I hear you calling...

Well, we are back home, after a long vacation in the mountains of North Carolina. It was fun, but long. The week was book-ended by storms, and we ended up having two of our tents wrecked (the original and the replacement). Oh well, what can you do? It was a lot of fun.
